Here is a model im currently working on.. it still needs alot of work and detail.. tel me what you all think so far

well somehow i managed to follow my refrence images and got wheel wells that were entirely to small lol but i fixed them after about an hour of tweaking them

Nice start!!!!!!!!! I was going to model a TT at one point also.

man that model is kickass. i wish your success could be mine but i dont know what would be a good project for a newbie :(

here is an update wth temp shaders and some rims... still needs detaiing.. right now im trying to figure out how i should go about putting the detail in the edges of the panels any sugestions?

how do you do those cut outs in the front O_o?

i create a curve for it then duplicate it ... loft the 2 to create a surface and then use intersect surfaces then delete the history and trim it

here is just a simple test render i know it has alot of inperfectins but so far im verry happy with it

this model is not very accurately modeled, it looks like it was rushed. I don't think you paid attention to the detail of the model. If you look at a real TT and compare it to yours, you will notice many differences. For example, the hood has an upward evelevation at the center. I would advise working more slowly on your next car model and paying more attention to details if you want it to look realistic.

I have to agree with Karabo... it looks really good but it's not a TT ;)

they are more rounded in the front and the back... more like a VW Bug...

get some more reference pictures and examine them closely and you'll see what I'm talking about

thanks for the input guys lol i know i jacked it up pretty good.. i think ill just take of the audi symbols and put brink-x and add some more stuff to it then call it done - lol

Although you might want to make the headlight lens look more like glass....or plastic whichever it is....you know what I mean:banghead:
