Very nice Jay.

Fkin busy as mate! Not had any time to use Maya in anger for ages!

Jay 30-03-2011 07:15 AM

Cheers G, get in there mate.

Cheers Steve, yeah its a little like that for me atm too, hence making myself do this.

I just posted this over at CG talk. A guy just commented telling me I need to adjust my image planes LOL, He then directed me to an image plane tutorial showing me how to make perfect line ups, since when was a human face perfectly symmetrical. I really wish people would read previous posts. LOL.

However I did point out I do this for a living so we'll see what comes of that LOL

anyway will post when I can later

cheers for now
Jay

Jay, when you say camera line ups and adjustments to cameras, are you talking about image planes and ref material? How many do you use?

Jay 30-03-2011 04:15 PM

Yeah mate you got it. Oh I use as many as I can, I dont rely on just the side and front anymore, its not enough if you want to do it properly. If I had a cyber scan of her that would be in there too - seriously.

cheers dude

What he had done was fine in all fairness but, I cant justify his comments on a rough out.

Onwards.....

Small update.

Curves are there for placement of polys against the image plane lineups. It does take a fair bit of time to do as most of the images have different expressions and not all of them have lens info on them for the focal length, so you have to reach a fine balance. Anyway enjoy the update
