wow, that is looking great Tweak! is there a trick to making the chain? or do you just duplicate and move...

keep up the good work!

^^TwEeK^^ 05-07-2003 04:07 PM

no trick with the chain...just a lot of duplicating, moving and rotating...took me about half an hour to do it.....

thanks for all the comments.....

right now i am trying to think what else i can add to him..i was thinking i could add muscles, but i dont think it would look really good on a bear.

Does anyone have any idea on what i can add?

Blinn 07-07-2003 03:18 AM

looking great man
love the chain

as for adding something, maybe some armor plating would look good.

thanks........

i havent had much time to work on it, but i decided what controlling device i am going to use...its an electrical device on its back, which release an immense amount of electrical shock at a push of a button... here it is...its not done yet.

C+C is welcomed as always

Witchy 11-07-2003 09:09 PM

Nice detail! I like the little aerial!

M 11-07-2003 09:19 PM

whoa very nice tweek :D. you see the wave that you have that has been extruded inwards? You may just want to select the top faces and then just smooth those around the area of that wavy line.. that may make it look more rounded :). Other than that, very nice.

Wiz 11-07-2003 09:21 PM

looking great ;)

Oh, Cool. And another thing. I know you will change the textures at the end, but it would help to make the snout texture a little shorter on the bottom, kinda like this....:D :D :D :D

^^TwEeK^^ 11-07-2003 11:52 PM

i will man.....i only used that texture to kinda see what the end will look like

drknow 11-07-2003 11:54 PM

ok, thats what I thought, but just thought id let you know.:):):):)

C+C is welcomed

drknow 12-07-2003 12:53 AM

Cool. Yea, I think it looks better too. Keep it up tweek. If you keep it at this rate you will surely win.:):):):)

^^TwEeK^^ 12-07-2003 12:55 AM

thanks....dont worry ... tommorow is the last day i can work on him for bout a week.....im moving to israel, and buying a new computer

M 12-07-2003 01:04 AM

Yea tweek this is looking really good!

Drknow, i mostly posted this just to let you know that its nothing you can figure out that easy.. there are a few other noobie entries that are also looking amazing. This month is going to be a challenge for noobie and normal :D.

drknow 12-07-2003 01:17 AM

Yes, I agree M, but you have got to admit, tweeks model is looking supreme.

hmmmm...what do you say to something like that....thanks..even though i think yours i smuch better then mine

here's an update

M 12-07-2003 01:42 AM

Heh, yea its looking really good! You have to think of one thing though.. for example... traiven3d has a very nice body so far on his mesh and could make it through with the complete model at the end of the month. I suggest that tweek doesn't stop modelling before the end of the tournament and once your done the box, you should start on tweaking the bears body shape. I love the head, but you could do little things like merge the frankenstein screws onto the head so it looks like a smooth transaction, same for the wings, maybe work on the wings themselfs and then do things like get anatomy pictures of a bear and work on the shape. Theres always something you can do to make a model better :). Really looking nice though tweek.. dont get me wrong.. the biggest thing i see is that your body of your bear is a bit brick like :).

^^TwEeK^^ 12-07-2003 01:47 AM

thanls M....actually i want be able to model for the next week or so since i am moving....nut after i am back i will keep on modeling....
and what exactly do you mean by "brick like"?

M 12-07-2003 05:09 AM

Well most bricks are like a rectangle.. i feel like the body of your bear shares that characteristic. It could just be a little more rounded out :). Other than that though like i said.. its looking great.

^^TwEeK^^ 12-07-2003 02:54 PM

heh...welll thats because his father was a bear, and his mother was a brick... :p J/K
