The manipulator tool shows. I can move it scale it and rotate it, but nothing happens. Same in the UW editor. So I think it must be something else.

I have run into a snag where I can't seem to manipulate a texture once applied to an object.

I select the faces to apply a planar mapping to but then i can not scale rotate or move the texture....

I loaded a file that seems to have objects grayed out and they are non selectable. Is there a way to unfreeze all objects in your scene?

In Polygon Mode I'd like to select a vert to manipulate and want the surrounding verts to gradually be affected so I can easily create ground geometry. Is there a way to do this in Maya?

I need to smooth out the geometry of a scene I'm working on so the polys don't show the hard edges. I don't want to add faces just smooth the surface.

I also discovered while waiting for an answer that if you go to Edit Polygons/Fill Hole it does the same thing. Not sure what the difference between doing it this way...
