right click on the blade... choose isoparms..

with select tool drag an isoparm where you want...
goto edit NURBS> insert isoparm..

I think this is what your looking for....

Take your geometry and attach it to your curve
(as if you were going to animate it along a motion path)
Select the geometry, Edit > duplicate > options...

you may have accidentally locked the channels....


In the channel box the atts will be greyed out...

select the greyed out channels in the channel box... right click in the fields > unlock...
