I just bought a new IDE controller so i could add my CD-RW and my other 40GB HD. Anywayz.... i am experiencing a major slow-down on windows start-up, plus the cd-rw worn't work ok connected on the ide controller ( actually it does work but when recording the buffer goes up and down like crazy..!).
I changed my bios,the mobo-drivers...got the new Controller's Drivers but nothing...The model is :
Promise Ultra133 Tx2

any ideas?
