For that question I would ask myself wheter or not I want the whole model smooth and clean or rough. Since it is a cleaning robot my first thought would be the smooth clean idea, but as I think more about it, the rough edged mechanical type would also seem interesting. But I think it all really depends on you and what you want to model.
