Hi guys,

I've been trying to learn Mental Ray.

Right now i'm using final gather. I am trying to create a light bulb lighting effect.

Heres what i'm doing, when I link and break lights in maya software rendering it works the way I want it to, which is no shadows from the light bulb itself. But when rendering in mental ray the links is not breaking! There is shadows from the light bulbs, this is driving me crazy!

Any one know whats going on?

Take a look, and if there is a better way to make a light bulb effect please share your knowledge!
