You don't get it? Hmm, I didn't imagine that there would be anyone who didn't get it. I really don't know how to describe this joke any better so that it might make sense to you.

The best I can do is describe to you why I find comedy in this particular peice. I suppose that first and foremost I'm impressed by the author's sense of abstract thought or his ability to "think outside the box". He's done so on such a massive level that I can't help but feel overwhelmed by his intelligence and this in itself brings a smile to my face for reasons quite unknown to me.

As I said in a previous post, I'm not the author of this joke. I can't even remember where I first heard it, but I've always thought it was quite funny. I suppose this is just an example of the varying differences in sense of humor from one person to the next. *shrug*
