What DV software as some of it can be quite demanding?

Then again you probably had it on your laptop and if that was fine then there shouldent be a problem.

Probably gonna get some thing with the AMD dual core processors, look for 1GB RAM (more if you get chance), 160-200GB hard drive, and the best poss graphics card you can as this will speed up your animations and your video editing.

Anyone else recommend anything in the price range more suitable?
