i dunno, i think it's pretty easy to model a hand without a tutorial, since you've got two of them right in front of you that you can move around and look at from all kinds of angles... i mean after you get the basic shape, all the subtleties - which i find to be the hard part - can be inspected close up, and it kinda takes all the guesswork out of it. *shrug*
