If you are talking about the texture material being stretched then you have to UV map the object once you have it complete.

If you are talking about keeping the polygons a relative size throughout the mesh then simply add as many edgeloops as you need in between to keep the mesh iniform.

If you mean something else I'm sorry you will have to be clearer with your expaination.
