Dubai3d, You may want to try Macromedia Flash (MX) for this. I use it all of the time for doing Bumps and shapes etc. Because it's vector-based, everything can be easily modified. I have even used it for just drawings, because it is so modifyable.

Any version of Flash, even old ones, will do.

Then it can be exported as an image For filling in photoshop or whatever
