Hey guys,

Just wondering when I follow Tutorials, I have noticed the final rendered scene is usually pretty smooth compared to what mine usually turns out like. Even modelling It can sometimes look a little blocky??

The question I want to ask is?

Is there some setting on my computer or my graphics card that i need to select or configure. According to the base score on my P.C it is a 5.8 . Which usually means it is pretty good. but I do feel that i have not unlocked it's potential.

On maya when when i some out my gris usually breaks up after a certain distance.

My specs are as follows :

Vista 64 premium

Intel quad Q9400 2.6GHz

4Gb

500mb

NVidea Quadro Fx 3700

Maya 2009 64-bit

I just feel it should run a lot smoother or is this just the case with maya?
