Think we are gonna get renderman 3.0 although have sent an email to see when they will be making the evaluation version of 4.0 available. I will be doing a lot of displacement rendering and this is where it will be of great help. Mental ray has certainly improved but still have problems with it and these have gone up a lot since I started this job.
