Yep, both cores are running at full speed. I have been keeping an eye on it and the killer is RAM. I run out of RAM and then the machine starts swapping to disk. The machine is then only as fast as the it can do physical IOs. Age does not matter its what you do with it Keep saying that to myself as well.
