uninstalling maya and reinstalling it didn't work -.- Maya 2013, It is doing it again what the heck is going on I'm not sure if you solved this yet, but it might be because of Dropbox. I was having the same problem and I use Sugarsync to watch the directory that the batch render writes to. Turning off Sugarsync seems to help. Turning off dropbox or anything else that monitors your write folder will help.
