I'm sorry but maya is too difficult for me and the online help too hard to understand for me

now, I'm seeking a tool who can collapse 2 vertices.

the only tool i found is the Edit Polygons->Collapse, but i can't use it on 2 vertices!

someone knows a tool able to collapse 2 vertices together?
