Just one problem is still bothering me: (no don´t think i didn´t try it ) Raytracing: I need / want the colored shadow of a semi-transparent surface with an file-texture. the shadow should be like a projection of the surface on the ground, i guess you know what i mean. i thought it was simple: - material with texture as color-chanel, transparency: 50% - light with raytrace-shadows on - render globals raytracing on - render with Maya S/W and Mental ray result: grey (at least not black) shadow, no colors, no projection. Please help me, it makes me maaad! and saaaad Thanks Train (now making the keyboard) desk allready finished, will post pic tonight (in 8-9 hours)
