i can't figure this out . i made a planar surface from CV curve and i want to insert more isoparms but i can't even select it, while nurbs plane isoparms can be selected. the curve has been closed so i don't know why i can't do this. any solution?

oh, is creating subdivision primitives a feature in maya 5? i can't seem to find it with my 4.5
