It has been fighting with atributes but i finaly look a bit like the picturen in my head.
I used a directional light on the ocean and adjusted the glow and color of the light.
In the Ocean shader atributes i put on the special effect glow.
I used the Maya Software render( i am a newbie, i dont know the differents hahaha), but i will try the mental ray to.

I dont have a compositing program. what you said is a good solution, only i cant do it ahah.

Do you know how to do it in Maya?
