I'm going through the Gnomon ones, the 2 that I have, 1 is the Maya basics, another is for NURBS, I'm hopeing to get more. Right now I don't have time to watch them/experitment with what I learn, because finals are coming up and all this other stuff, any recommendations what so ever will be welcome. I like the steps, I think maybe newbies like me lack direction, steps like that help, thanks alot.
