my friend is giving me $250(canadian)

what would the best upgrade be for my comp within that budget i was lookin at a few flat screen moniters and they look pretty sexy. the on i was looking at most was an acer, it was 19 inch 16:9 and the resolution was something like 1400x900 ish... should i get it?

forgot to mention: another friend of mine has an ebay account so i can get stuff from there
