I've just printed this image in colour and high quality but it has come out way darker than it appears on my monitor.

Wondering whether the print or my monitor settings are the issue - is the image sufficiently lit on your monitors, can you see the detail on the shotgun pump and small gun?

Also what is a good way to calibrate your monitor so that you know your work is looking like it should?
