I have a sphere with a texture applied to it that I'm using as a sky. I was wondering if it was possible to rotate the sphere, but rotate different parts of the sphere at different speeds. For example, I want the top part of the sphere to rotate faster than the lower part, without having to cut it up. This tutorial has a step that nails it, but it's for cinema4d and I can't seem to get it to work in maya. It's the section called "Moving Clouds". https://www.3dfluff.com/cameramapping...mappingtut.htm Here they talk about a bone and a vertex map, but i'm not sure what that means or where to find it in Maya. If someone could help clarify, I'd be forever grateful. Thanks!
