Its a laptop when from when 512mb was actually quite good (for a laptop, and not to shabby for a cheaper desktop) Thanks for all your help guys I tried what you said Jay and when I hit calculate I still got the same error message but the render worked When I start to do bigger scenes, with this in it, alien ships, a landscape etc ill definitely the other methods I dont know what Id do without you all :blush:
