It's funny your should say that about metric... In the UK although we went metric in the early 70s and I was there ( ) people in the UK still use feet and inches and pounds and ounces - even the youngsters. More importantly a pint is stilll a PINT! Anyone who went into a pub and asked for a litre or a half litre would be viewed as foreign (or weird ). So cousin don't feel too left out in the cold. I'm off home now 18 miles (not kilometres) away to get me laughing gear around a nice few pints down the rubber dub dub! I hope I won't feel too moby in the morning and the missus don't get the neville...
