All depends on your geometry, if it flows well then a simple poly smooth does the job fine.

You can convert it into sub d's, then alter the geometry from the sub d menu set to smooth out any problem areas then go back to polys (if you want) then smooth and render.

Or the alt is to go Nurbs all the way!
