Default I am new but here is a first model

It isnt much but its a start. I barely discovered this place and I hope to get better at maya so I can post better images.

Its very... yellow. I recognise the temple thing from the Maya tutorials but how did you do the light thing?

Default hair and glow

I put hair on the sphere and then added blinn and increased the glow then I smoothed it out.

Is very basic. You must practicate. But is a good first project!!!

Not sure the significance on the big yellow blob, just looks thrown into the picture. Were you going for a sun like effect?
