Default Winter Challenge Winners!

Congrats and thank you to all who participated in the challenge! I know it was a long one, with all the holidays and my marriage, but I'm glad those of you who finished managed to pull through and get great results!

Without further ado...

Winners!
-----------

1st Place

s2-speedy

Congrats! I loved this entry from the concept on through and it was executed marvelously! Great character and great idea! PM me your info and I can get your prize to you.

2nd Place

RockyMills_01

Love the concept and attention to details! The presentation could have been a little tighter and I would have loved to see a bit more dynamic lighting.

3rd Place

mirek03

Yes, it is very simple and probably could have been done in the first *day* of this competition, but I have to admit I really liked the presentation! Nice job on your 2nd placement in a row, mirek03!

Congrats again everyone! The new FX Challenge (run by rage) is now available!

its great to be apart of this.., the winning is of little consequence, though the recognition is of course great.., and congrats to the winner.

its great to have some reason to model, a goal, and this forum gives that to us all, thank you SM

I agree with the ^ABOVE^

Nothing like a fair bit of cruel competition to get the Modeling juices flowing

So, any thoughts on what the next Modeling comp is going to be about? If theres even going to be one. I would have entered this one, but I had found the site too late.... the comp was already underway. I would like to enter the FX comp, but thats WAY out of my zone!!!

I have a couple of (to me) cool ideas.... Though I'm not sure if simple members can host a Comp.. ?

Congrats again to all!

anyone cam start a thread, if you want to start a comp.., why not.., its just that it doesnt have the same phsycological ummph that it does when it is a site hosting it. (and you cant give out medals )., and anyway, there is a challenge forum for just what you are suggesting,

but.., im sure Ragecgi would dig to hear your ideas.., Mike is, well the rumor was, he was going on honeymoon.., but he is probably taking maya with him .., getting himself into trouble with the missus already.., so he might be back soon.., (maybe thats why he's back at work already.., ???

i just looked at your camero.., i guy who can do that should be able to come up with some compositing and VFX, its planning, the road there is different for every piece of work.
