Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

that is nice, thanks a whole heap honestdom. That's better than anything I found. I'm still not entirely sure I'm going to participate in this months comp. I had plenty of time to start modeling today but ended up spending all my free time playing around with soft bodies. I just can't seem to pull myself away from it....so much fun haha. Making water balloons, jello, you name it.

Perhaps I'll model something right now before I go to bed. Otherwise I'll never get started.

Ok, I just watched 3rd & 7th thread that was posted and was inspired to re-enter this comp. Not much time left I know but I'll give it my best shot.

After blocking out my scene, I quickly realized that there was no way my computer would handle the poly count so I never tried to complete my entry. Just in case anyone was wondering.
