My second project in uni was to creat a desk that told the story of the owner. I did a pirate captin but this project reminds me of it.

Good start, but still early days.

I really am loving this project - only issue I have is the background plate outside the window - the sun direction is facing the wrong way. Great job other wise.

I hit a wall with uv mapping and texturing, but I think I am past it now, going back to it very soon.

Looks nice, it's got a really good atmosphere and the lighting's very pleasant, feels sort of lived in if that makes sense. I like how the shot's set up with the windows and the blinds half down, and how the room continues into another one and isn't just a closed off space, it's telling a story.

Is that a typewriter on the desk or something else? Because it's a bit of a technology time clash with the laptop on the sofa table, unless it's a detective museum there would probably be one or the other. Also that sofa looks like a rock solid bottom breaker at the moment, some cushions to soften it would be nice.

Hello everyone user added image

Its been a long time that i didn't post any update.

and for considering the above posts i have removed the typewriter and find a new thing to fill up the space.

Here are some early test renders . Right now looking for the right look.
Current state:- First stage of texturing done
Next would be more details some wear n tear. May be some saturated diffuse texture on table right now its looking more towards oranges/yellowish and some final lighting changes and add on's in modeling if required in final stage.
