Default back..again...again

okies so its that time of the year ive whipped maya aout again and am continuing my stage setup scene (some of you may remember)

im doing a flyby camera shot of it and have some fireworks set up at the front of the stage

ok heres the question

whats the easiest / best way to have the fireworks go off at particular frame 280 i have the camera come to just in front of them..that would be a great time for them to fire etc.

i keyed the visability but when i turn it back on it continues from where they were.. (ie doesnt spring from the bottom again)

any ideas?
