Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Snapping every .2

Ugh, i cant find the option in the maya interface. Ive got all the snapping things turned off... but its really annoying when I model in great detail. Anyone have any idea what button I hit? I cant move anything less than .2 while using the Move Tool...

Very, very lame. Maybe this will help, that area usually fixes that type of thing... Im using maya 5

Did you look at the tool options for the move tool? Double click on the icon and check that discrete move isn't checked.
