Default hypershade window

can anyone help
- hypershade window comes up completely blank

get the message in script editor:
/ Error: Object not found: firstPaneTabs //
// Error: Cannot find procedure "filteredCollection". //

using maya 5 on mac g5 sys 10.3.4

try to reinstall Maya Again after you remove it completely

and for you new installation try to make a new preferences dont use the old one ..

thanks mr_flamenco, but i found out the problem is to do with installing the bonus pack - when i uninstalled it - the problem went away
