Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

The Sword in the Stone

3D version of the cover of the classic "Sword in the Stone". Just got to finish the back wall and do Wart and then i can start with some textures.

Sorry about the poor quality of the jpg. I saved it straight to jpg from maya.

Looking really good, I really like the fairy stuff above the sword user added image
One tiny crit, the shadow seems a tad too sharp.

Yeah i know but i'm not going to bother fixing it as wart will be in the way as he's standing their to about to pull the sword out of the stone.
