OK. So here is my consept drawing.

I have decided to go for the dark and forboding hallway in an asylm or prison look.

Well we will see how it ends up.

OK. So here is my first render, Just the basic model with some basic lighting. Nothing special yet. Just wanted to get a feel for the scene.

your floor has perfect reflection that's not possible try to get blurry reflection and break the reflection by bump maps and reflection maps..

there's 2 ways to get blury reflection as i know

1- maya 6 has parametter in the meterial attribute editor

2- use dgs meterial.


and your windows are black 100% that's strange user added image

keep it up user added image

Thanks msb, I know about the reflections, as i said it is just an early render to get a feeling for the perspective, and the windows are black because they are just holes to the outside at the monent, still got lots to do.

bit small, but I like "test 3" the best so far. Good sense of moodiness.
