Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

cycling only a portion of an animation curve

anyone know how to cycle animation curves (pre / post infinity) in the graph editor - but only for a particular section of the curve?

I've got a pose keyed at frame 0, and I want to cycle the animation from frame 1 onwards...

anyway to do that aside from manually cutting and pasting many times?

thanks
L

Check out TRAX. This type of thing is exactly what TRAX is for.

Pretty cool, check the docs for detailsuser added image

No prob!

Yeah, I just tried it for the first time this weekend, and it is SUPER easy to setup.

Just select your keys in a given shot in the Graph Ed. and make it a TRAX shot. Done!

Once it is in TRAX you can mess with the timing, reverse it, slow it down, etc.

Pretty cool. Good luck!
