Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Maya and video

I've been reviewing several threads about video and Maya Live. I'm curious, is Maya Live used to bring video into Maya. I just want to know how to have a plane surface and layer a video onto it.

Maya Live is a piece of matchmoving software that comes free with Maya Unlimited. You use it to get a camera track from a video clip that you want to integrate 3D elements with. What exactly do you mean by 'have a plane surface and layer a video onto it'??

I think he means attach video onto a plane instead of a non-animate texture.

I know most people use Adobe AfterEffects for that... but I'm a newb.
