Default Making surface from two curves

I'm having a little trouble creating a surface from two curves I've made, please have a look at my WIP THREAD for more info. Hope someone can help me out...

im a newbie as well but i think what you need is to use the EXTRUDE tool under the EDITING SURFACE on the menu, make sure you set the option before extruding or else the output will be bad. i hope that helps
