From maya to XSI converting

I am so sorry if this is in the wrong part of the forums.

I use Maya as my 3D playground and starting to get the feel of it. So now i wanna try to make som models for a map i am making for a game.

BUT the game i am making models for only uses XSI models.
i tried to learn XSI but going from Maya to XSI was kinda hard for me. So i am wondring if there is a way to convert maya`s mb\ma files to a XSI frendly file.

(am using Maya7 and trying to create models for "star wars Battlefront 2")

If my question is imposible to understand just say what part of my question that is horrid to understand.

when u say "model" do u mean like a "model" in XSI [as in scene heirarchy]
u can export as obj for poly meshes,
if u have other things u want to export [camera, lights, skin weights, rigs] u need deep exploration
or similar exchange plugins [ like fbx]
