Layer & lightsource render?
Dear reader, I hope you can help me with these two questions!
1. How can I render in maya 6.5 with final gathering a lightsource like a street with lantern lighting the sidewalk nicely in the mentalray look! (ball of light) (create pointlight doesn't work)
2. How can I render a Maya-scene in differend layerparts WITHOUT LOSING THE REFLEXION OR SHADES? (of other layer)
Like this: I want different renderlayers of a scene so I can work on every layer in compossiting (after effects) But erery rendered layer has his Alpha areas without giving away there reflexion and shading.
Which MayaMaster can help me out here. I would be verry Thankfull!
