Default Yay my first render! Hammer time!

This is my second day using maya (of course this image is ugly!)
but it was my very first model! Just wanted you all to see my progress and give me tips.

However dont feel you need to crit the hammer it is just a practice model.. not gonna work on it anymore.

Rendered with Mental Ray --

Thanks,
Robert

ahhh, the hammer.

Keep it up, the learning curve is monumental and very satisfying.

Good luck,

Mat.

I remember doing that tutorial from alias. There are a couple more on there somewhere, and the SimlplyMaya freebies are good. The main thing is to just keep fiddling around with all the different controls and buttons, until you figure out what they all do.

This is for anybody, but my friend found this tutorial about how to put 3d scenes into flash.
