hey whats up, newb animation question

hi, i been mdoelin for 2 months now and i starting to elarn how to animate basic stuff, seems simple enough for basic stuff, i used animation:master for 6 months or so and i animated fine with that

i was wondering.. how do you get the camera perspective (of the camera that's imported into the scene) so that you know when animate the camera moving, you know your stuff is in the view of the camera?

thanks

Like if you create a new camera in maya and want to look through that??

If so Click Panels->Perspective->Camera name

or

select the camera and click Panels->Look through selected

Hope this helps
