Default Golf Ball...

Im wanting to make a golf ball model. I found this tutorial for 3d max - http://www.3dm3.com/tutorials/golfball/ - is it possible to do the same kinda thing with maya - ive tried to just create the primative itself but since the controls are all different I'm all stuck....

Thanks for any help in advance

unfortunately- usually you can easily make general modeling tutorials from 3ds Max ones.

But this ones uses tools ONLY in 3ds Max- and it uses them all the way through.

Sorry-
Matt
