your question is just a little vague. If you want a nurbs 'square' to be grab-able as a single object, there are a couple of ways to deal with that. As for getting a situation where several nodes affect each other like that (where grabbing one object grabs and moves all of them), I don't think there is (although there could be, I just kinda doubt it). It almost easier to parent them to something that you can grab to move all of them, things like that, usually.

Anyway, if you put up more detailed information, we might be able to help you more.

i just want to simulate a 4 sided steel structure in reality. This 4 sided steel structure with all ends with "rotatable" pivot joint(in reality terms). So if u squeeze downward, the two sided edge will push outwards and if you push two ends of the side the upend and downend will push outwards

heh.

your question is still a little vague, but I think I know what it is you're looking for. Basically, what you're looking for seems to be the squash deformer (look in the deformation shelf); this isn't heirarchy-related at all. I reccomend you look through the help files for the associated documents on the deformers, to start with.

If you attached a picture of things, that might help clear it up more, but that sounds about right.
