Default Extrude face dividing

I´m having problems when I use Extrude Face. I select one face, then instead of extruding, divides into another faces. That´s really strange. Can anyone help me? Thanks for the support.

Default

double click on the extrude icon to bring up the tool options window, check that the offset is set to 0.000 and not 1.000.
