Default create mental ray nodes.

how do I create mental ray nodes? I know that in the hypershade, you can switch between create maya/mental ray nodes, but where do I open the mental ray files? I did it once in a tutorial, but I forgot how.... :headbang: I think I have to go into the plugin manager or something.... HOW?
