Hi, im new to maya, and I know this is an extremely noobish question, but how do i transform shapes? If you dont get what i mean, go

The tutorial is for rigging, but it asks the client to make the sphere elongated into a mouth and such. I know the scale tool, but it never comes out looking right....please help

You may actually want to become better acquainted with Maya's basic tools and do some modelling before you attempt this tutorial.

In any case, the way he makes the shapes is by selecting various vertices and moving them using the move tool until he achieves the desired shape.
