Default manipulators changed

while using maya the move/rotate/scale manipulators changed. the lines are now extending to infinity. they also aren't working properly. how can i reset the manipulators to get them back to their default appearance. thanks for the help

have you seached at the maya help file at all? really useful for simple problems you might run into!
A pint of example is worth a gallon of advice!!

Rofl i had the same problem like 4 months ago and mike helped me by saying the same thing lol.
